Life often has unexpected loops, turns and at times steep drops very similar to a roller coaster ride.  In a perfect world these uncertainties would not exist, but unfortunately that’s not the case for many people. These hardships and adversities may appear in your childhood, during the adolescent years, or adulthood, resulting in you suffering from symptoms of anxiety or depression.  As your therapist my goal is to provide you a safe & non-judgmental zone, a “listening ear” and to assist you in navigating your way through these challenges.

Seeking counseling services allows you to gain knowledge of better coping skills, it allows you to express your thoughts and feelings, and work on identifying triggers that may cause you to feel out of the ordinary.

I have a Master Degree from Walden University in Social Work and several years of experience working with adults. I utilize Mindfulness Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.  As your therapist, I look forward to assisting you with implementing these techniques and using them to work through different circumstances and emotions.

I see individual adults who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression due to addiction, marital conflict, life-transitions, lack of identity, dissatisfaction with careers, interpersonal conflict, family of origin struggles, low self-esteem, adjustment to parenting or other life-phases and/or lack of motivation in general. I will use an integrative and collaborative approach to help my clients move through the therapy experience toward a more ideal version of themselves.
