Have you ever just wanted to sit down to off-load something that’s been eating away at you for too long? Recognizing the need for help and seeking professional therapy is a sign of strength and determination to live a productive and meaningful life. As a part of living our lives, we may encounter situations that are difficult to manage alone. Some seek support due to a situational crisis. Others seek treatment as a necessary aspect of managing a medical disorder, commonly known as a mental illness. Whether you are experiencing a life adjustment or you’re concerned with more complex medical conditions, it is a well known fact that therapy helps.
As a therapist, I trust the process and recognize that helping clients face and move through painful experiences provides opportunity for growth and transformation. It’s important to me that my clients feel safe, seen, heard and respected. When you develop a relationship with a caring, attuned therapist you will find new ways to solve problems, heal old wounds, and change the way you live life. I am a certified clinical trauma professional with EMDR training and 14 years of experience in private practice. My work with clients focuses on new experiences, happiness and wellbeing in contrary to other models that aim to reduce symptoms alone. I provide insight-oriented, humanistic, and action-focused therapy treatment for adult individuals and couples. I am also a board approved clinical supervisor in counseling. I work with LGPC candidates and other professionals seeking clinical oversight.
