Let’s explore what brought you here, and let’s work together to shape where your life is going.

I’m a counselor who is focused on helping people cultivate fuller lives while living with anxiety, depression, and chronic conditions. My approach to therapy balances being person-centered with the use of research-supported interventions for managing specific problems (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy for depression). I help people by reviewing patterns in their daily life with them and identifying opportunities to make a change. With this approach, clients create new habits that increase their engagement with daily life and rewarding activities.

My graduate training centered around the relationships between what people think, what they do, and how they feel; these relationships make up the theory behind cognitive-behavioral therapies. While they are important, I work to see the whole person who comes to the session. So many things contribute to where you are, including things like your relationships, your experiences, your strengths, your interests.

I want to help you feel seen and understood, help you develop a richer understanding of the situations that brought you to my virtual office, and work collaboratively with you from start to finish. Together, let’s embrace who you are, make sense of what brought you here, make space for who you want to be, and determine how best to get there.
